Usability testing

Usability testing

Usability testing is a method to test your product with real users with the intention of seeing for example how well users can perform tasks, if they enjoy it, or if they can find the information they are looking for. The course covers all activities necessary to conduct a usability test, guiding you through planning, performing and analyzing the results, to hands on advice on how to ask the right questions, how to present your results as well as tools and templates to help you get started.

Gathering feedback from your users can be intimidating. Usability testing is one method to do this in a structured and constructive way.

This course will help you prepare and think about everything you need to know before usability testing, taking you through active listening techniques, how to ask the right questions, and tips & tricks for situations in which you need to help the participants share their thoughts.

Throughout this course, you will also find templates to help you plan, perform and analyze usability tests, and also some suggested tools that could make your life easier.

This course is intended for anyone who wants to facilitate a usability test, no matter the role you have in your team, product owner, developer, business analyst, quality assurer, or designer.

It helps you if you are new to usability testing and have never done it before, and also if you have previously facilitated usability testing, but want to refresh your memory.
